Utility and SOS Messages
Apart from displaying commercial advertisements Adbrand allows large premises owners to display Utility Messages, which are messages that the premises owners would like to convey to the patrons at their premises during the businesshours, and SOS Messages that are displayed during emergencies.
Utility Messages
Adbrand screens located at large premises such as malls or complexes, display Utility Messages for the general awareness of the public at that location regarding that premises. These messages are specific for each location and are chosen by the premises owner. The messages could be for the convenience of the patrons at the premise, such as information relating to parking or directions towards exits or lifts; or instructive messages such as to cooperate with the security for security checks or to inform the security of any unattended baggage’s or a suspicious looking person etc.
The utility messages can be used by the premises administration as an information medium to communicate about any upcoming events at the premise such as mock evacuation drills or a social awareness meeting being held at the premise etc. Certain premises such as a Restaurant Chain can even display their "Menu" on the screens installed at their restaurants. Such messages are shown at distributed intervals along with the ads. Adbrand displays different types of SOS messages based on the emergency in
SOS Messages (Emergency over-ride) Adbrand displays different types of SOS messages based on the emergency in progress. Messages are specially designed to send out visible & clear messages during emergencies such as Fire, Terrorist Attack, Chemical Hazard and Earth Quakes. A generic SOS message is also designed for use during any other kind of emergency requiring evacuation. The premise administrator or security will be trained on initiating the SOS message system which can be activated with in a few seconds during an emergency.
SOS Messages relating to fire, communicate information relating to the location of Fire Extinguishers, or to avoid the usage of lifts during the emergency or to keep the escape routes free of obstacles (to allow for the fire fighters to enter the building) or request patrons to cover their mouth & nose with a cloth to avoid inhalation of smoke etc. In case of a Terrorist Attack the messages displayed request the patrons to remain calm & to duck down on to the floor.
During a Chemical Hazard messages such as "Do not step into or touch spilled material" or "Avoid inhalation of fumes, smoke and vapours" etc are displayed on the screens.
Messages such as "crawl / stay under strong furniture" or "do not use the lift" or "keep away from glass panes" etc are displayed on the screens during an Earth Quake.
